Wednesday 28th May 2008
A recent survey has shown that 4 out of 10 Britons are willing to pay more to buy green products that are either recycled, organic or energy efficient. The green minded 40% were prepared to pay an extra 10% more, whilst two thirds claim that they regularly buy environmentally friendly products as part of their weekly shop.
The survey, carried out by online bank cahoot showed that the most eco-conscious of the two sexes were women, whilst South Wales topped the list in terms of locality, with a whopping 50% willing to fork out more for green products.
